Dexter says thanks for the birthday wishes!! He’s 9 years old now. His “birthday” was May 7, but that’s just the day we adopted Dexter from Adopt-A-Dog when he was 2 years old. We don’t know Dexter’s real birthday. All we know is that he was born sometime in 2015 in West Virginia, which is where Adopt-A-Dog rescued Dex from a dog pound. And, yep, our Dexter is a good-looking doggie, and you’ll get to meet him on Tuesday!!

Hmm, that’s a tough one because dogs supposedly don’t see many colors. When kids would ask what about Sparky’s favorite color, I’d always say black and white because she was white with lots of black spots. As for Dexter, maybe her favorite color is red because her leash is red, and she always gets excited when I take out her leash because she knows she’s going for a walk!

Thank you for wishing Dexter a happy 9th birthday!! Supposedly, one “dog year” equals seven “human years,” so Dexter is about 63 years old (9 x 7). He’s definitely not a little puppy anymore!
