Happy Birthday Dexter

Hi Victor!

Thank you for wishing Dexter a happy 9th birthday!!  Supposedly, one “dog year” equals seven “human years,” so Dexter is about 63 years old (9 x 7).  He’s definitely not a little puppy anymore!

Thank you for your birthday wishes!  Dexter had a fun 9th birthday.  He celebrated with his “cousin” Lucy (my daughter Kristen’s dog) and he enjoyed a birthday cupcake!

Hi, my name is Cecily and I’m in Park City Magnet and I can’t wait when you come and read us a book on Tuesday the 14th. I can’t wait to see Dexter and you.

And we can’t wait to meet you and all of your classmates, too!  I think we’ll read a little bit from Dexter’s chapter book, “Dexter and the Rescuettes,” and then read the true story of Sparky’s life, “Sparky’s Wonderful Life.”
